Gut-Friendly Energy Balls

If you are an energy balls lover like us, you probably know that it’s hard to stumble upon recipes that aren’t chocolate covered or full of nuts. We get it, chocolate is delicious and nuts have the high protein and fat content that you want in an energy ball. Unfortunately, we can’t all eat nuts and sometimes our tummies are too sensitive to devour a chocolate fudge ball.

So we have decided to create an energy ball recipe that 1) does not contain chocolate and 2) is 100 % nut free. It’s also great for your gut, because it contains anti-inflammatory ingredients like ginger and turmeric, as well as, alkalizing ingredients like lemon juice. It’s also free from inflammatory ingredients such as refined oils or gluten.

It’s lemony, refreshing, and light which makes it the perfect treat for the end of summer. It also has pumpkin spice flavours to bring you into fall! 🍂
