This is the first time I challenged myself to create a recipe with DOSE’s smoothies and I am really not disappointed! With the summer well on its way, warm and humid days settling in, I had the idea of making a popsicle recipe. Why these are breakfast popsicles? Because they’re made with DOSE‘s smoothies which contain a good amount of plant-based protein. These smoothies are full of delicious fruits and veggies and can be included in your breakfast! For these popsicles, I used very popular breakfast ingredients like chia pudding, yogurt and granola. Obviously, no need to eat them only for breakfast! It can also serve as a refreshing snack.
Popsicles Banaberry (4 servings)
- 1/2 cup of granola
- 2 tbsp of almond butter
- 1/2 cup of DOSE – Banaberry smoothie
- 1/2 cup of plant-based vanilla yogurt
- 2 tbsp of dark chocolate, chopped
1. In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup of granola with the almond butter. Put the preparation at the bottom of 4 popsicle molds.
2. Divide the DOSE – Banaberry smoothie among the 4 molds. Distribute the rest of the granola and finish with the plant-based yogurt. Garnish with dark chocolate.
3. Put in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
Popsicles Matcha (4 servings)
- 1/2 cup of canned coconut milk
- 2 tbsp of chia seeds
- 1/4 cup of granola
- 1/2 cup of DOSE – Matcha smoothie
- 2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
1. In a bowl, combine the coconut milk and chia seeds. Rest for 5 minutes.
2. Put the granola at the bottom of 4 popsicle molds. Put the DOSE – Matcha smoothie into the 4 molds and cover with the preparation of coconut milk and chia seed. Garnish with the shredded coconut.
3. Put in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
